Name: Misaki Ishiwata.
Concept: Everybody says so, therefore it’s true. But is it really true?
Many people go through their lives without any excitement, without change and without expressing any individuality. I think many people are concerned of what other people think; because of that, their lives become full of fakeness and lies. That is not how society should be. People should live their lives freely, the way the want and express themselves, both in the past and in the present time.
There is a Japanese idiom that says “ten different people have ten different colors” and I think I want to live in a society where people have different individual colors, and each one accepts the other. However, change doesn’t come easily. That’s why I want to be a leader and change society. It’s a rather strange sight, but it’s my daily routine.
The most important components of the look: I painted the model’s face pink to create a high-impact look. As the model turn around, surprise!, another face will appear. The unnatural-colored skin that doesn’t exist in nature and the additional face with ukiyo-e painting attached on the back of the head are the key elements of the look.
The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: Every human being has his or her own personality, and it is a fun thing because – in this case – there is no correct and no wrong answer. In the past, I used to struggle to express my individuality; but through creating this look, I eventually was able to discover the things that make me unique. This creation is filled with the tangible form of my individuality.

コンセプト: みんな一緒がいい、それが正解。
それは 本当に正しいのか。常日頃ワクワクもなくただ生きている人が多い世の中。何一つ変化もなく個性も出せない。外見や人の評価を気にして嘘や偽りで固めている人が多いです。そんな世の中はよろしくないと思います。今も昔も自分の生きたいように自由に表現していいと思います。
十人十色という言葉の通りみんな違っていい、個々が色を持ち 個性を受け入れてくれる、そんな世の中を私は生きてみたい。しかしそう簡単には変わらない。だからこそ私がその第一人者となり世の中を変える。ある種異様な光景それが日常茶飯事。
作品のポイントになる部分: ピンクの顔でインパクトを出し、振り返るとまたもう一つの顔が登場するというサプライズ。現実にはあるはずのない肌の色、後頭部に付くもうひとつの顔、そしてそこに描かれている浮世絵の顔がポイントです。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: 個性って人それぞれで、正解なんてないからこそ楽しい。それを表現することが難しく、悩んだことも多くありました。この作品を手がけたことで、最終的には自分の個性を見つけることができました。この作品は私の個性の塊です。
Name: Hirono Sakamoto.
Concept: Those were my happiest moments.
When you put colorful bubble gums into your mouth,their colors are going to overlap, melt, and mix together. With childlike curiosity, I poured some water (something you are not supposed to mix with bubble gum) onto the bubble gum, and the bubble gum become solidified. It was fleeting; nevertheless, the colors mixed well with each other, and it created a new color inside of the mouth. In that moment, it turned into a marbled gum. That change that happened inside of the mouth was something I wanted to present in my work.
The most important components of the look: The unnatural doll-like look with big eyes and the colorful bubble gum that was bursting from her mouth.
The most memorable thing that happened when you were creating this look: Even when I felt like giving up, I realized that as long as I do not stop thinking and creating, I am able to create something wonderful. I created each element (the hair, makeup, and styling) separately, and they look different once they are combined/put together, so I had to pay close attention to the contrast and balance so I can express my vision/make it look exactly the way I wanted it.

コンセプト: 私の至福。いくつものカラフルなバブルガムを口内に放り込んだ時。 重なり、溶け込み、混じり合う。 そこに、ほんの少しの子供のような好奇心から、相性最悪の水を注ぎ込んでみる。 固まった。儚い。 それでも色は口の中で、他の色と混じり合って新しい色を作る。 それは「一瞬」だけ訪れる、ひと時のマーブリングガム。 そんな、変易する口内ビジュアルを見せつけたいの。
作品のポイントになる部分: 現実離れをした、人形のような大きな目。そしてカラフルなバブルガムをたくさん膨らませて、割ったようにみせた口元がポイントです。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: 追い詰められて諦めそうになった時でも、考えることや作ることを辞めなければ、人を感動させる素敵な作品ができることに気づきました。個々で作ったヘア、メイク、スタイリングを合体させると見え方が変わるので、自分の思い通りの表現ができるようにコントラストや、バランスを細部にまで拘りました。
Name: Asano Kimura.
Concept: If the miracles of the Showa period happened in the Japanese Economic Bubble
in the 1980s, the miracles of a new era happen when people’s vivacity overflow. So, why
don’t we create a foam era (a denser/stronger form of the bubble era) that will not easily
burst this time.
The most important components of the look: The bubbles/foam all over the model’s body, especially the headpiece. The foam bubbles were made using various materials such as hair, paper clay, transparent plastic domes, and real foam bubbles.
The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: I destroyed,
recreated, damaged, and remade the piece again and again. I felt the pain of suffering over and over again while creating this look. However, I also experienced the most pleasant feeling of joy while completing the piece part by part like a puzzle and becoming absorbed in my work to the point of forgetting everything else. The memory of looking at the model walking on the runway wearing my design is truly unforgettable.

作品のポイントになる部分: 全身を使ってfoam泡を表現した所です。特にヘッドピースは髪の毛や紙粘土、透明の半球や本物のfoam泡など色々なものを使って制作しました。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: 壊して作り直して、振り出しに戻って、また壊して、、、何かを生み出すことの苦しさを何度も実感しました。ですが、作品が１つずつパズルのピースがハマるように完成していく時の喜びと作業中の夢中になる感覚が一番心に残っています。自分の作品がshowのランウェイを歩いている時の感動は本当に忘れられない思い出です。

Concept: A magical girl who is an embodiment of cuteness

The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: With close attention to details, I made every single elaborate component myself. Many people cheered me on as I was completing the project; so, I’m very thankful and happy.

コンセプト: “かわいい”をそのまま具現化したかのような魔法少女
作品のポイントになる部分: 胸元や髪の毛についているパーツ。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: ひとつひとつのパーツ全て、細部まで拘り作りこんだこと。また、沢山の人に応援されながら、やっとの思いで完成したことがとてもありがたく嬉しかったです。
Name: Sayaka Gotou.
Concept: This look is inspired by Yayoi Kusama – the queen of polka dots – and her artworks. She wears polka dots to protect herself from hallucinations.
The most important components of the look: The polka dots all over the model’s body.
The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: I put my thoughts on this project every single day. Even though I didn’t come up with the idea right way, but the final idea came to me as I kept on working on the project.

コンセプト: 水玉の女王である草間彌生×Queenで新の「DOT QUEEN」を誕生させる。 彼女は自分を襲う幻覚から身を守る為ドットを身に纏う。
作品のポイントになる部分: 全身を覆うドット。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: 毎日毎日この作品のことを考えていました。アイディアが浮かばなくなっても、とにかく手を動かすことでアイディアが生まれることを肌で感じました。
Name: Maria Kobayashi.
Concept: Cells. Exposing the true appearance of living things. Cells do not care about what other people think. Regardless of what you are wearing, all of us are made of cells. There is no hierarchy. I’m dedicating this look to all the working cells in human bodies.
The most important components of the look: Human being’s integration with hair & makeup.
The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: Human relations.

コンセプト: Cell。 生物体本来の細胞の姿をさらけ出す。 周りの目を気にしない。 どんなものを身につけていたとしても、素は細胞からできていて、上も下も何も無いこと。 身体の中で働く細胞達へ捧ぐ。
作品のポイントになる部分: ヘアメイクと人間の一体化。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: 人間関係。
Name: Hina Hamaue.
Concept: Thermo.
The most important components of the look: Thermography that shows human body temperature is cute! So, I made it. I wanted to represent human energy and passion directly in the work. I’m looking for a way to do it because I’m still in my youth. I poured
all of my bursting passion into my work.
The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: Although I major in hair and makeup, I made the thermographic-colored leotard and tights using hair and makeup technique and created something new. I handmade every single piece of silver cushion and it required persistent work. It’s hard and tiring work; but as I worked on this project, I started to be interested in prop-making and molding. Through this experience, I am able to widen my possibilities.

コンセプト: Thermo。
作品のポイントになる部分: 人間の体温を表すサーモグラフィーが、かわいい！と思い制作しました。人間の本来持つエネルギーや情熱をダイレクトに作品に表現したく、若い今だからできる方法はないかと模索しました。わたしの溢れ出る情熱を全て注いだ作品です。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: ヘアメイク専攻ではありますが、ヘアメイクの技術を生かしてサーモグラフィーカラーのレオタードとタイツを制作。新しいものを生みだすことができました。シルバーのクッションはひとつひとつ手作りで、とにかく根気の作業でした。辛い作業が多い作品でしたが、この作品を手がけたことでプロップや造形などの仕事にも興味が湧いてきました。自分の可能性を広げることが出来たと思います。
Name: Ryo Nakashima.
Concept: Girl A’s Coral Reef // The Coral Reef of Girl A.
The most important components of the look: This piece was inspired by idol culture, especially by two famous Japanese idols: Akina Nakamori and Seiko Matsuda. I used red – Akina Nakamori’s trademark color – to represent her and painted an A shape on the model’s face, and I put coral reefs on the model’s hair to symbolize Seiko Matsuda who is famous for her song ‘Blue Coral Reef’ (Aoi Sangoshou).
The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: I was able to work on my own project and help other people with the same amount of fervor.

コンセプト: 少女Aのサンゴ礁アイドル文化からインスピレーションを受けた。日本で有名な中森明菜と松田聖子というアイドルをピックアップし作品に落とし込んだ。
作品のポイントになる部分: 中森明菜のイメージカラーである赤を使いAKINAの頭文字のAをメイクで施し、松田聖子の代表作「青い珊瑚礁」のサンゴ礁をヘアとスタイリングで表現した。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: 自分の制作も、メンバーの手伝いも同じ熱量で携わることができたこと。
Name: Koharu Hori.
Concept: REAL/FICTION.
The most important components of the look: In this modern era, social media is prevalent. The distinction between reality and unreality becomes vague. Reality is the opposite of unreality. It made me think: what if I use the notion of opposites in my work? In this case: Food is something we ingest; but, for this project, I used food to decorate and beautify human beings. Combining vintage and new components, as well as dried fruits and vegetable, I created a mysterious/ surrealistic worldview.
The most memorable thing that happened during the creation of this work: I find the concept of opposites/reverses deeply fascinating. In this era, people can visualize things that are not readily available in front of their eyes and gain satisfaction from virtual experiences. This was my once in a lifetime hair and makeup show, and I wanted to show the audience the magical and fantastic world.

コンセプト: REAL/FICTION
作品のポイントになる部分: 現代はソーシャルメディアが普及して、現実と非現実の区別が曖昧になってきている。 対義語（アントニム）を１つの作品に落とし込んでみたらどうなるのか。対義語（アントニム）の見せ方にも取り入れ、本来私たちが体内に取り入れ、食べられるだけの運命の食品達が、人間を美しく飾る装飾品として使用されているところ。そしてヴィンテージパーツと新しいパーツを組み合わせる。ドライフルーツとフレッシュな野菜を組み合わせることで不思議な世界観にもってきたこと。
制作過程で最も心に残ったこと: アントニムを表現する中で、言葉の深みにはまってしまったこと。現実と非現実の間にはたくさんの言葉や表現や物があることを知りました。そして現代の人は、目の前に本物がなかったとしても、それを疑似体験することで満足できるのだと気づきました。私の人生において1日のみ1回のみのヘアメイクショーですので、お客様に本物を見せ付けたかった。今の世界は不思議で素敵だと思います。
